Thank You from Sipho and Lungi

Dear WinBap Members,

Lungi and I would like to express our sincere gratitude for your generous gift that enabled us to take a short break from July 13–20. Your kindness was a tremendous blessing to us, providing an opportunity to rest, be refreshed, and enjoy meaningful fellowship with my dear wife and old friends.

On our first evening, we stayed with friends whom we first met in Australia back in 2006. They are now retired and have returned to South Africa. It was especially encouraging to hear that they are considering attending a Bible school so they can be equipped to serve a rural community like ours with the gospel.

We also had the privilege of visiting our long-time friend, Pastor Andrew Pennels, formerly of Mooi River Baptist Church and now serving on the South Coast. It was wonderful to spend time together with him and his wife and hear about the Lord's work in his ministry.

On Saturday afternoon, another group of friends invited us to enjoy a traditional South African braai [barbecue]. It was a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, share stories, laugh together, and reflect on many happy memories. The entire week was a refreshing reminder of God's faithfulness through the friendships He has given us over the years.

On Sunday, we had a lovely opportunity to visit a friend's church, Rock Of Ages Emandawe. It was a delightful experience to share that special moment together under the Word and sweet fellowship afterward.

Thank you once again for your generosity, thoughtfulness, and ongoing care for us. Your support made this time of rest possible, and we returned home encouraged and refreshed for the ministry ahead. I will send some pics via WhatsApp shortly so you can share some highlights from our time away. May the Lord richly bless each one of you for your kindness and faithful partnership in the gospel.
