Worthy of the Gospel (Philippians 1:18-30)

Our life speaks to the worth of something.

By that I mean, what do you exalt, promote, or show the value of by your loyalty, investment, sacrifice, and joy? Many of our lives show the worth of parenting, a profession, a favorite team, a certain cause (pro-life, pro-marriage, pro-family), helping people, and even Christian ministry. These are all good things. But there is something “far better.” Paul exhorts us, along with the Christians at Philippi, to live in such a way that they show the worth of the GOSPEL.

3. Lives that show the worth of the gospel LIVE for the progress and joy of others in Christ. (22-26)

4. Lives that show the worth of the gospel STAND together in unity and purpose for the gospel. (27)

5. Lives that show the worth of the gospel STRIVE together in courage for the gospel. (27-28)

6. Lives that show the worth of the gospel SUFFER together for the sake of the gospel. (29-30)
